Mid-Missouri Regional Planning Commission (Mid-MO RPC) has been working with its Regional Technology Planning Team (RTPT) since May in a broadband planning effort focused on expanding broadband availability and adoption in the Mid-MO region. This effort has paid special attention to expanding broadband in ways that will benefit the healthcare needs of Mid-MO residents.
After several meetings, comprehensive research, and regional and statewide broadband surveys, a draft of the Mid-MO Broadband Availability and Adoption Strategic Plan focused on the healthcare sector is available for review and comment. The plan can be accessed by clicking here. Comments regarding the plan may be sent to Mid-MO RPC Planner, David Bock at davidbock@midmorpc.org
Mid-MO RPC will hold a meeting of its Regional Technology Planning Team (RTPT) to discuss this draft plan on Thursday, December 19, at 11:30 a.m. in Ashland at the Mid-MO RPC office (206 E. Broadway). The meeting is open to the public, and all interested parties are encouraged to attend and participate in the conversation. For more information on the RTPT meeting, please contact David Bock at davidbock@midmorpc.org.
