RPC Luncheon Discussion April 26

The Mid-Missouri Regional Planning Commission luncheon discussion will feature Amy Schneider, Director of Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau. She will be sharing information on how the City of Columbia is preparing for the August 21 total eclipse of the sun.

It is predicted that millions of visitors will be viewing this rare celestial event in the state of Missouri and many of those visitors will be traveling to communities in the Mid-MO region where they will experience over 2 minutes and 30 seconds of totality.

Mutual Aid Coordinator, Matthew Luetkemeyer from State of Missouri Department of Public Safety will also be joining us for the discussion and be available to answer questions regarding how they can assist in community events as well.
