Outgoing Mid-MO RPC Chairman Gary Jungermann and Region F Homeland Security Advisory Committee Chair Doug Westhoff were among several individuals recognized for their contributions to the region at the Mid-Missouri Regional Planning Commission’s annual meeting on October 25th. The event was held at the Claysville Store near Hartsburg. Approximately 50 people representing local governments in the Mid-MO RPC region, as well as federal and state legislative representatives, MoDOT officials, and emergency management staff were in attendance.

Each year at the annual meeting, the Mid-Missouri Regional Planning Commission honors individuals for their outstanding commitment in promoting community and economic development for the region and their city and/or county. This year the following individuals were honored:
The Mid-Missouri Regional Planning Commission 2017 Annual Report was distributed, and Executive Director Ed Siegmund reviewed the accomplishments of the work program for the past year. Siegmund emphasized the relationship between the work program and goals established by the Mid-MO RPC Board of Directors, and thanked everyone for their participation in RPC programs and projects.
