CDBG Disaster Recovery and Mitigation Funding Now Available

The Missouri Department of Economic Development (MO DED) has released several opportunities for CDBG funding based on recent presidential disaster declarations. These programs are designed to benefit low- to moderate-income communities and help them recover from the storm and flood related damage as well as mitigate damage from future disasters. Each program is targeted at specific disaster declarations and to different purpose. Links to the Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) and other resources for each program are highlighted below.

CDBG Mitigation program applications must be in by 5:00 P.M. October 23, 2020 and the CDBG Disaster Recover applications are due October 30, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. The CDBG LTR program is an open cycle.  Applicants complete a short proposal and submit this to CDBG at any time. These proposals are reviewed every two weeks and the best candidates are invited to submit a formal application.
